About
I am a PhD researcher in the Methods for Big Data Lab at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), supervised by Nadja Klein.
I work on Bayesian optimisation, prior-data fitted networks and in-context learning. I am interested in applying these methods to scientific and engineering problems, such as in industrial manufacturing and bioelectronics.
Before my PhD, I worked at the European Central Bank for two years and completed my Master's degree in Statistics and Econometrics at Bocconi University, with a thesis on diffusion models for time series synthesis under the supervision of Carlo Baldassi.

If you don't find me in the office, I am probably up in the air or somewhere in the mountains! I am a pilot of ultralight planes and gliders, and a passionate mountaineer.
